Ernst: “I am here to pledge my unequivocal support to Israel.”

WASHINGTON—After slamming Hamas as an Iranian-backed and funded terrorist organization seeking to destroy one of our closest allies, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) today pledged her unequivocal support for Israel. Ernst called on President Biden to follow suit, and noted that re-entering the failed Iran Deal during this conflict would ultimately be helping Hamas in their attacks.

 

Earlier this week, Ernst supported a Senate resolution forcefully condemning the attacks against Israel by Hamas and reaffirming the United States’ unwavering commitment to our ally Israel and its right to take whatever means are necessary to stop the murder of its citizens and foreign nationals residing in Israel.
