Ernst Celebrates the One Big Beautiful Bill Delivering for Iowans

NEVADA, Iowa – At the Mid-States Companies in Nevada, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) touted the many wins for Iowans in the One Big Beautiful Bill alongside Congressman Randy Feenstra (R-Iowa), Small Business Administration Administrator Kelly Loeffler, and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin.

In addition to the bill delivering the largest tax cut in history for hardworking Iowans, Ernst detailed how she successfully eliminated restrictions in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process that unfairly punished farm kids and limited their opportunities to attend college, as well as her amendment to stop unemployment payments to the idle rich.

“The One Big Beautiful Bill is delivering for Iowans,” said Ernst. “Republicans gave hardworking Americans the largest tax cut in history to allow folks to keep more money in their pockets. We raised references prices for farm safety net programs and made historic investments to prevent foreign animal disease. We also permanently increased the death tax exemption to ensure family farms and small businesses can be passed down to the next generation. This was one big beautiful win that will continue to positively impact Iowans.”
