WASHINGTON—U.S Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) today honored the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as a trailblazer for women leaders across the country. Ernst stated that, as a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, she will carry out her duty to evaluate President Trump’s nominee for the nation’s highest court.
Senator Ernst also called out House Democrats for continuing to block support for Iowa’s farmers in the government funding bill—noting that Congress has replenished funding for the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) in a bipartisan way for over three decades in a row.
