Senator Ernst Continues Push for Counter-ISIS Strategy in Southeast Asia

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA), Chairman of the Senate Armed Services’ Emerging Threats and Capabilities Subcommittee, questioned Secretary of Defense James Mattis and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Dunford Jr. on a strategy in Southeast Asia to combat ISIS, and how that strategy can best support our partners in the Asia-Pacific region to stop these bad actors.
