Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties.

RED OAK, Iowa – U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Ranking Member of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced her Small Business of the Week: Brannon Monument Company of Dubuque County. Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties.

“The Brannon family and the entire team at Brannon Monument Company is well known for their longstanding commitment to crafting high-quality memorials in northeastern Iowa,” said Ranking Member Ernst. “I want to thank everyone at Brannon Monument Company for honoring Iowans and servicemembers and giving back to their community.”

Brannon Monument Company has been creating meaningful memorials in northeastern Iowa for almost 100 years. Since its founding in 1926, the business has grown to include Novak and Brannon Monuments in Marion and Manchester Monument Company in Manchester. In addition to crafting personal monuments, Brannon Monument Company has also been instrumental in building memorials to honor our nation’s veterans in Dubuque, Central City, and Kolona. Current business owners, Michael and Stasia Brannon are also actively involved in the Dubuque community, and Michael is a member of the Monument Builders of North America and Monument Builders of Iowa.

Stay tuned as Ranking Member Ernst recognizes more Iowa small businesses across the state with her Small Business of the Week award.
