“As a combat veteran myself, I feel an incredible responsibility to ensure the United States lives up to the promises we made to our veterans. The Wound Warrior Project is an incredible partner in helping achieve this goal and a critical pillar for the veteran community,” said Ernst. “The organization understands the unique challenges our veterans face when returning to civilian life, and the type of care they need, whether their pain is visible or not. It’s an honor to receive this recognition.”
