Ernst Blasts Democrat Plan to Drive Up Costs, Limit Access to Child Care

WASHINGTON—U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), a longtime advocate for access to quality, affordable child care, today blasted Washington Democrats’ plan which could nearly double the cost of child care and result in fewer options for Iowa families. Ernst noted that parents are already facing higher prices on everything from gasoline to groceries—and Americans cannot afford the Democrats’ reckless tax-and-spending spree.
